1. Special prizes instituted by the Guardians and Well-wishers Association of the college to be awarded annually to the university rank holders.

11. Star of Excellence Award: Instituted in commemoration of the visit of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, the former President of Indian Union to this institution in 2007, the award is conferred every year on a student with a proven record of pursuit of excellence throughout her campus life assessed and found agreeable by a panel of judges based on a number of widely recognized benchmarks pertaining to her skills, achievements, personality, attitude to life and conformity to the vision of excellence held dear by Dr. Kalam.  

12. Student of the year Award: A covetous annual award conferred on the most meritorious out-going undergraduate student of the year, chosen by a select jury on the basis of a battery of on-stage and off-stage assessment segments of the level of the contestants’ curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular performance during her final year of study in the college, apart from her campus acceptability and cardinal personality traits. Suitable prizes are offered also to the first and second runner-up winners of the final round, and to the segment toppers.

Mathematics

16. Sr. Annie Elvina Memorial Annual Bursary: Scholarship instituted by the relatives of Sr. Annie Elvina, former Head of the Department of Mathematics,  to be awarded to a deserving, needy and good natured degree student of Mathematics Core Course, scoring not less than 80 percent marks in aggregate,  in the first and second semester university examinations.

17. Kunju Mariam Niravath Memorial Gold medal awarded to the top-most student in B.Sc Mathematics core course based on the total marks scored by the student at the relevant University examinations.

18. T.T Jose Thozhuthumparambil Memorial prizes awarded separately to the top-most students in (a) Computer Science and (b) Statistics as complementary courses based on the marks scored by the student in the relevant university examinations.

19. Sr. Loretta Bursary: Scholarship instituted by the Mathematics alumnae of the college   in honor of Sr. Loretta, former Professor and Head of the Department on her retirement as Principal,  to be awarded to the top-most student of the M.Sc  Mathematics Previous class based on the total marks obtained by the student at the first and second semester university examinations.

20. Sr. Stephen Mary Bursary: Scholarship   instituted by the Mathematics alumnae of the college in honor of Sr. Stephen Mary retired Professor and Head of the Department to be awarded to the top-most student of B.Sc. Mathematics Core Course based on the marks obtained by the student at all the relevant university examinations. 

21. Sr. Annie Elvina Scholarship: Scholarship instituted by Mathematics alumnae  of the college in honor of Sr. Annie Elvina retired Professor of Mathematics to be awarded to a deserving student of B.Sc. Mathematics core course, based on her fifth  and sixth semester scores at the University examination  put together.

22. Sr. Chrysostom Scholarship instituted in honor of Sr.Chrysostom, retired  First Grade Librarian to be awarded to the most deserving student of B Sc Mathematics core course based on her third and fourth Semester university examination marks put together.

23. Dr. John J.K Scholarship instituted by Mathematics alumnae of the college in honor  of Dr. John J.K retired Head of the Department of Mathematics to be awarded to the student scoring the highest percentage of marks  at the First Semester M.Sc Mathematics university examination. 

24. Ajitha Jayaram Memorial scholarship instituted by her husband Mr. Jayaram,   to be awarded to the most deserving and meritorious student of B.Sc Mathematics core course based on the total score of the student at the third and fourth semester examinations put together,  provided that the total score should not be less than 80 percent. 

25. Sr. Tresa Parokaran Scholarship instituted by the Mathematics alumnae of the college in honor of Sr. Treasa Parokaran retired Head of the Department of Mathematics to be awarded to the top-most student of the first semester M.Sc degree based on the marks obtained by her at that University examination.

26. Special prize instituted by Dr Geetha K V, former HOD, Department of Mathematics to the top student in subsidiary Mathematics

27. Gold Medal awarded by M/s A.K.P. metals to the top-most student in M.Sc Mathematics based on the marks obtained by the student at all the relevant University examinations.

Chemistry

28. Sr. Marietta Special prize awarded in honour of Rev. Sr. Marietta former Principal and Head of the Department of Chemistry to the highest scoring student her marks at the third and fourth Semester M.Sc. Chemistry University examinations put together.  

29. Sr. Boromeo Special prize instituted in honor of Sr. Bromeo retired Head of the Department of Chemistry, to be awarded to the top-most student of M.Sc. Chemistry based on her total score all the relevant University examinations.

30.  Sr.Deogratias Special prize instituted in honor of Sr. Deogratias, retired Head of the Department of Chemistry by the alumnae of her department to be awarded to the top-most student of B.Sc. Chemistry core course based on her scores in theory papers of the course at all the relevant University examinations.

31. Mrs. Valsa Jos Mooken Special prize instituted in her honor, to be awarded to the top-most student of degree-level Organic Chemistry, based on her total score in the subject at the third and fourth semester university examinations. 

32. Prof. Joseph Konikkara Special Prize instituted by the alumnae of the Department of Chemistry in honor of Prof. Joseph Konikkara former Head of the Department, to be awarded to the top-most student performer in the 5th & 6th Semester (combined) Regular Internal Assessment examination.

33. Ms. Thressiamma Thomas Special prize instituted by the alumnae of the Department of Chemistry in honor of Ms. Thressiamma Thomas to be awarded to the most deserving student of B.Sc. Chemistry core course based on her performance in these papers at all the relevant University examinations.

34. Mother Mary Benetia Scholarship instituted by the alumnae of her Department in honor of Sr. Mary Benetia retired Head of the Department of Chemistry to be awarded to the top-most student of   B.Sc. Chemistry core course based on her scores in these papers at all the relevant university examinations. 

35.  Sr. Agnella Scholarship instituted in honor of Sr. Agnella to the most deserving student of the second year B.Sc Chemistry class based on her scores at  the third and fourth semester university examinations.

36. Prof. Santha Paul Scholarship, instituted in honor of Prof.  Santha Paul, retired Head of the Department of Chemistry, to be awarded to the most meritorious outgoing M.Sc student of her department, based on the student’s performance at all the relevant University examinations.

37. Gold medal instituted by Mrs. & Prof. Appu, retired Head of the Department of  Chemistry, to be awarded to the top-most student of   B.Sc. Chemistry core course based on the marks secured by the student at all the relevant university examinations.

41. Achuthan Phalgunan scholarship to be awarded to the top-most student of the final year B.Sc Zoology class based on her scores at the fifth and sixth semester university examinations.

42. Prof. Omana Augustine Scholarship instituted in honor of Prof.  Omana Augustine retired Professor and Head of the Department of Zoology by her own Department to be awarded to the top-most student in Zoology based on her scores in the University Zoology practical examinations.

43. Ms. C.D. Elsy Scholarship instituted in honor of Ms. C.D. Elsy to be awarded to the most deserving second year B.Sc Zoology student based on her scores at the third and fourth semester university examinations in Zoology papers.

44.  Prof. Rosily Abraham Scholarship instituted in honor of Prof. Rosily Abraham retired Professor and Head of the Department of Zoology to be awarded  to the top-most student of  Zoology core course based on her scores in the relevant  theory and practical University examinations.

Prof. Sophiamma Johny & Sr. Euphemia Scholarship jointly instituted in honor of Prof. Sophiamma Johny retired Professor and Head of the Department of Botany and Sr. Euphemia, retired Professor and  Head of the Department of Botany to be awarded  to the top-most student of B.Sc Botany core course based on her scores in these papers at all the relevant University examinations.

48.  Sr. Mary Caroline Scholarship instituted in honor of Sr. Mary Caroline to be awarded to the most deserving student of second year B.Sc Botany core course based on her scores in these papers at the third and fourth semester university examinations.

51. Prof. Ambikadevi Varma Special prize instituted in honor of Prof.Ambikadevi Varma, retired Professor and Head of the Department of Physics to be awarded to the top-most student of B.Sc. Physics core course, based on her scores in these papers at all the concerned University examinations.

52.  Venkatesan Memorial Scholarship to be awarded to the top-most student in Physics complementary course based on her scores in these papers at all the relevant University examinations.

53. Sr. Sigismond Scholarship instituted in honor of Sr. Sigismond to be awarded to the most deserving student of second year B.Sc Physics based on her scores in the core course papers at the second and fourth semester University examinations.

54. Prof. Francis Pullokaran Cash award instituted in honor of Prof. Francis Pullokaran, retired Professor and Head of the Department of Physics to the topmost student-scorer in B.Sc. Physics core course University practical examinations.

55. Sr. Sobha Special Prize instituted in honor of Sr. Sobha, retired Senior Superintendent to be awarded to the top-most student of B.Sc Biotechnology core course based on her marks in these papers at the relevant University examinations.
