AN AWARENESS PROGRAMME IN ASSOCIATION WITH KERALA POLICE

In observance of Road safety week organised by NCC unit St Joseph's College Autonomous Irinjalakuda in association with Irinjalakuda Police conducted safety inspections and awareness program on road safety. Program was held on 27th Friday in Irinjalakuda private bus stand at 10:00am. The function was inaugurated by Irinjalakuda DySP Sri Famous Varghese.

An autorikshaw driver Sri Subramanian received special award as an ideal driver for abiding the safety rules. The award was given by CI Sri Suresh Kumar. Vehicle inspections program was inaugurated by Kodungallur CI Sri Bijukumar . Rev.Dr Sr Christy, principle of St Joseph's college Irinjalakuda felicitated the function.

Welcome address and Vote of thanks was imparted by Associate Ncc Officer Lf. Litty Chacko and Sub inspector V.V Thomas respectively, coordinators of the programme . 10 selective drivers who abided the safety rules was awarded coupons of 1 Ltr of petrol each.  Two wheeler passengers , car passengers and autorikshaw drivers were subjected to vehicle inspection. The program were concluded by giving proper awareness instructions to the people who disobeyed the safety rules and congratulating safety rules abiding citizens by giving away sweets to them.
