VISTAS is a Multidisciplinary
Research Journal that publishes experimental, theoretical and case studies and
reviews in Arts, Commerce and Science. Papers should present new, important
observations or interpretations that can be of general interest to teachers,
researches and students.
Types of paper
·
Research articles- Papers reporting original
results of research, usually 3000-5000 words, except References section.
·
Short Communication articles- Brief reporting on
research with a maximum length is 2000 words, with a summary of maximum 100
words.
·
Review papers-
It should summaries recent research, data and concepts in the fields
covered by the journal. It should be of 3000-5000 words, except References
section.
·
Mini-Review- Brief personal commentaries,
hypotheses, viewpoints and spotlight reviews.
·
Letters to the Editors- It is devoted for
comments and clarifications on articles that have been already published and
should be limited to a maximum of 1000 words.

Manuscripts

Policy and ethics
Corresponding
author of the all the research articles submitted to VISTAS should certify that
formal approval to conduct the experiments described has been obtained from the
institution ethics committee and could be provided upon request. If the studies
deal with animal experiments, the authors certify that they were carried out in
accordance with the National Institute of Health Guide for the Care and Use of
Laboratory Animals (NIH Publications No. 80-23) revised 1996 or the UK Animals
(Scientific Procedures) Act 1986 and associated guidelines, or the European
Communities Council Directive of 24 November 1986 (86/609/EEC). The authors
further attest that all efforts were made to minimize the number of animals
used and their suffering. All authors must disclose any financial and personal
relationships with other people or organizations that could inappropriately
bias their work. All manuscripts should be accompanied by a clear statement
that the work has not been published elsewhere and is not under consideration
for publication elsewhere. All article may be checked by the originality
detection software to verify originality.
Article preparation
All
articles submitted should be saved in the native format of the word processor
used. Manuscript should be in a simple single-column format. During the
publication process most of the formatting codes will be removed or replaced for
uniformity. Bold, italics, subscripts and superscripts can be freely used. Source
files of figures, tables and text graphics should be provided upon request. 'Spell-check'
and 'grammar-check' services of word processor can be used to avoid unnecessary
errors. All manuscripts must be in double-spaced typing on pages of A4 (8.5 x
11") size. Depending on the need papers should be divided into sections like
Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion and References.
A standalone concise and factual
abstract is required for all articles. It should be written as a single
paragraph without subsections and references. In 200 words, authors should
present aim of the research, methods used, experimental design, principal
results and major conclusions. Introduction section is to provide an adequate
background for readers. Objectives of the work can also be stated clearly. Materials
and methods section should provide sufficient and accurate details to allow the
work to be reproduced by an independent researcher. Results should be clear and
concise. Discussion section is to explore the significance of the results of
the work. The main conclusions of the study may be presented in a short
Conclusions section.
