Department of Costume & Fashion Designing

The department of Costume and Fashion Designing started functioning in St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Irinjalakuda in 2020 with the affiliation of Calicut University in the self-financing mode. The department collaborates with various designer boutiques and apparel industries in and outside Kerala to assure our student’s placements. The curriculum is nurtured with Workshops, Invited talks, Industrial visits, Seminars and Fashion shows. The students experience the industry in the department laboratories itself with the guidance of the Industrial person Mr. Ranjith Vaikkattil, Fashion designer/Stylist.
