The four semester Master Degree Programme in Journalism &Mass Communication equip the women candidates to work in any media organization stations like Newspapers, Magazines, Television channels, Broadcasting stations, News agencies, Public Relations Departments, Advertising Agencies, Technical Writing, Online journalism and Business Journalism, Teaching and Research and any other media related job of both electronic and print media. The MCJ programme also aims at the empowerment of women for the formation as social scientists for making plans and strategies for the needed social change, so as to accelerate the Development process. The course content also gives opportunities for leadership qualities for women to become political leaders and to meet the challenges of the technocracy.
