M.SC. CHEMISTRY (AIDED)
M.Sc Chemistry or Master of Science in Chemistry is a career-oriented postgraduate course of 2 years. We offer Master of Science in Chemistry affiliated to University of Calicut. The course covers theoretical, inorganic, organic and physical chemistry branches. Synthetic organic chemistry and organometallic chemistry are elective papers in third and fourth semesters, respectively. Inorganic, Organic and Physical Chemistry practicals are integral part of this course. The course demands a project report to be submitted to the university at the end of the course. The course is specially curated for the students willing to gain a more powerful grip over the areas of chemical reactions and chemical composition of substances.
The basic eligibility to pursue M.Sc Chemistry is a graduate degree in Chemistry with at least 50% or more marks. Students can also go for a M.Phil or a Ph.D in Chemistry after successfully acquiring this degree.
