Merit Day of Third year B.Com students

The Research Department of Commerce, St. Joseph’s college has conducted merit day programme to acknowledge brilliant students for their academic as well as excellence in extracurricular activities including sports, cultural events and so on. The merit day was organized by the 3^rd year students of B.Com on 8^th march 2023 at 2:00 pm.

The programme started with a prayer song by Akshara followed by welcome speech delivered by Anna Paul. Class representative Jisa Johny felicitated the merit day winners. Medals were awarded to the students who topped each semester.    

Medals were awarded to Gopika K.S (1st, 3^rd, 4^th, 5^thsem), Maneesha K.P (1^stsem), Jisa Johny(5^thsem), Neha Sethunath(3^rdsem), Mariya Viju(3^rdsem) and Thanzila T.B (2^ndsem). After that, prizes were distributed to Aleena Biju and Chandana Prasad for their meritorious success in various sports events. Prizes were given to those who participated and won the extracurricular activities including competitions like poster making, card making, essay writing , photography,  PPT presentation etc in the  three academic years. Medals were distributed to Vandana Rajesh, Gayathri M.S, Sneha Sajeevan, Krishnapriya P.S, Leha Salju, Anjanakrishna K.U and Haritha V.R as a part of it. Athira Madhu, NCC cadet who participated in the All India Thal Sainik Camp was honoured by the faculty members. Medals were also distributed to all the leaders for their selfless service.

Programme was concluded by a gratitude speech delivered by Elizabeth Paul C,Head , Department of  Commerce.
