As a part of 15th National Statistics Day celebrations, Post Graduate and Research Department of Mathematics organized a Collage making competition for the students. The theme was “Graphic Representation of Covid data in social media and Newspapers”. 18 students were participated for the competition. The entries were evaluated by Ms. Premy, Department of Psychology, SJC and Ms. Rahana Babu, Department of Mathematics and AI, SJC. The winners are First - Gayathry T S, Second - Merin Benny T and Anlis Antony A (Shared), Third – Anna Reejo Parayil from second BSc Mathematics. Students made two short film videos about “Feasibility of Statistics in modern time” and shared them into various groups. In connection with National Statistics Day, the students from second UG and third UG classes were participated various competitions organized by other colleges and Economics and Statistics Department, Thrissur, Govt. of Kerala.
