Awareness quiz in connection with National statistics day

As part of SIM club activities, the post graduate and research department of mathematics of St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous) Irinjalakuda has organised an intercollegiate online quiz ‘STATISTICA’. This for the commemoration of the ‘Father of Indian Statistics’, P. C. Mahalanobis. The quiz was very helpful to the students to get an awareness about the subject Statistics. The online quiz was launched on the 16th National Statistics Day (29th June, 2022); and accepted entries for two days before closing on the 1st July 2022. 247 students took part in the quiz from reputed institutions in Kerala. The quiz was created by taking input from a pool of questions and was compiled using a Google form. The participants who scored 50% or more were awarded by an e-certificate.
