Master of Science in Zoology is a two-year postgraduate programme focused on professional development. It includes didactic teaching, practical teaching and learning, seminar presentations, project work etc. The programme covers important life science areas such as Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Systematics, Evolution, Developmental Biology, Physiology, Microbiology and Biotechnology. Human Genetics is the elective course that encompasses Clinical Genetics, Diagnostic Genetics, and Cancer Genetics and Genetic services which are dealt in the third and fourth semesters. M.Sc. A graduate degree in Zoology with at least 50% or higher marks is required to pursue M.Sc. Zoology.
