Commerce Association Inauguration

Commerce Association is the association of all commerce faculty and commerce students of the Department of Commerce. The main aim behind to form this association is to a bridge the gap of commerce students from theory to practical aspects of commerce education. Now a days industries demand more and more practical oriented students who can fulfill their need and requirements. This association is an attempt to fulfill the needs of industries and various business organizations.The department has an active commerce association, which keeps on recharging students with lots of activities and programmes including curricular and co-curricular activities.

The association inauguration of the commerce department was held on 25th August  2022 by 10:30 am held in the auditorium  . The event began with a prayer by Akshara K.M. of 3^rd year B com. Head of the department of commerce Smt. Elizabeth Paul delivered the welcome speech which was followed by. Presidential address by Principal,  Dr. Sr. Elaiza, adding more precious words to the event .The Chief guest of the programme Leona Lishoy, is one of the most leading actress in Mollywood . She is an influencer , entrepreneur, film actress  who pursuing her dreams through an acting field . She addressed the students with enormous words to build their career in focusing more to a independent life , having a job by own to lead a better life . The speech was delivered to the audience accommodated in the auditorium, around 220 students including faculty members of commerce department.

She had also a conversation between students asking various questions about her cinema field , personal life , studies , business movements, influencing skills related questions was asked to her . She was patiently listening to the questions and answering all of them to the best . The inauguration was done by lighting the lamp .Towards the program the guest was honoured by Principal presenting a momenta . Logo inauguration was held by the principal and chief guest by introducing the logo “ ACT 2K22 “ .The programme was even more colourful by adding more colours to it . Students had great opportunity to dance with the leading actress. Also to take photos with actress . By the end students had put more efforts to make the programme memorable offering cultural programmes from various classes of commerce department including post graduate and under graduate students. Involved with group dance , group song , solo song . The programme ended with a vote of thanks by the Association secretary Anna Vincent Paul, thanking everyone with the support and guidance towards the journey . The programme was ended by 1:00 pm .
