Cadets did floral offerings to the fallen heroes of the Kargil War. Demonstrations of the Kargil War was conducted by the cadets. A photography competition was held in front of the Wall of Valour.

                                                        REPORT

The Kargil War was an armed conflict fought between India and Pakistan from May
to July 1999.The conflict is also referred to as Operation Vijay in India.The Indian
soldiers had secured this victory after a three month conflict that led to the lay down of the lives of 527 soldiers while protecting their beloved country. The Kargil Day is to remember the Indian victory and the sacrifices of the Indian soldiers.
The NCC unit of St Joseph’s (Autonomous) College, Irinjalakuda celebrated the Kargil Day to remember the victory of India and the sacrifice of the Indian soldiers. The principal Dr. Sr. LIGY V. K and the NCC cadets did the floral offering to the Indian soldiers who lost their lives in the Kargil War. And the NCC
cadets also demonstrated the part of Kargil War as a drama to disseminate the
importance of Vijay diwas. A poster was made in tribute to the soldiers of the Kargil war.
