                 The  Department of Mathematics organized a webinar on “BE  AN  INTERNATIONAL TUTOR – A Career Next to You”.The Webinar was conducted in Google Meet and the  class  was  offered  by  Ms.Sandra Rebera, Certified  Online  Tutor   since     2005. The program was hosted  by Anna Theresa ,2^nd B.Sc. Mathematics. The welcome  speech  was  delivered  by  Ms. Sherin Jose T, Faculty  coordinator. The Resource  person was explained the significance of online Tutoring and its Benefits. She emphasized that women is a key to sustainable development and quality of life, she can be independent through Online jobs. Online platform is a career to everybody. An Online education is preferred by individuals  who  may  not  be  able  to  make  it  for classes  in  a traditional brick and mortar kind of college due to various reasons. The future of online degree education looks promising, and opens up education to a larger section of the population than ever before. Then  she  explained various online tutoring jobs under online tutoring services like Wyzant, eTutorworld, TutorMe etc. It was an interactive session in which some of the students asked questions about various topics related to Online Tutoring. Around 70 members were participated in the Webinar. At the end of the interactive session a Google form was provided to mark the feedback about the session. The vote of thanks was delivered by Sandra Benny,2^nd B.Sc. Mathematics. The brochure was prepared by Devika K.A, 2^nd B.Sc. Mathematics and the program was well coordinated by her. The class was very informative for the students as well as for the faculty members.
