The endowment lecture in honour of Dr. Mangalambal N. R. instituted by the research scholars of the department was conducted as webinar on 20/03/2021 at 11 am through google meet. The programme started at 11am by the welcome of Ms. Sherin Jose T, Head , Department of Mathematics, St. Joseph’s college(Autnonomous), Irinjalakuada. The resource person was Dr. Aparna Lakshmanan S, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, Cochin University of Science and Technology. She deliverded the lecture on the topic ‘Topology generated by Graph’. The talk was mainly focused on topology generated by simple unidirected graphs without isolated vertices and their properties. Also discussed the properties of the topologies generated by certain graphs and the continuity and opennes of functions defined from one graph to another via the topologies generated by the graphs. The lecture helped the students to understand the application of Topology in Graph theory.  Dr. Mangalambal N. R, Former Head, Department of Mathematics, St. Joseph’s college(Autnonomous), Irinjalakuada shared her research areas in topology. All the faculty and students of the department attended the programme. The students raised their queries at the end of the lecture. The programme ended at 12.30 pm by the vote of thanks of Dr. Fijy Jose P.
