PTWA

The Parents Teachers Well Wishers Association (PTWA) of St. Joseph’s College was initiated in order to ensure the whole hearted support of parents and well-wishers for the successful functioning of the college activities along with high standards of learning. It aims to inspire and sustain parents’ active interest with quality endeavours. The association conducts seminars, discussions etc. on matters regarding the upbringing, welfare and education of students. It fosters cordial relation between parents, staff and management.

The PTWA has constituted a seven member Executive Committee for the effective functioning of the association. The executive committee meeting will be held in the beginning of every academic year to discuss on the action plan of the year. The whole hearted co-operation of the members is the back bone of all the activities. The regular activities of the association include a welcome gathering, an orientation talk to the parents of I DC students and a general body meeting at least once in a year. The association felicitate the college union members, A+ toppers and special award winners and conduct a send-off programme to the retiring faculty and staff members in the month of March.
