Karunalayam home for dying destitute, Mundampalam, Thrikkakkara,Kochi

Students of II B. Sc. Mathematics (2020-2023) St, Joseph’s College Irinjalakuda  visited “Karunalayam home for dying destitute”, located in Mundampalam, Kochi , Kerala on Thursday, April 08, 2022 as part of curricular outreach programme. The Non-Profit Organization accommodates nearly 120 inmates, including physically and mentally challenged adults. The purpose behind this visit was to interact and socially connect with people who are separated from society. 42 students took part in this voluntary service under the guidance mentors Ms. Sherin Jose T, Head and Assistant Professor and Dr. Sr. Clare, Assistant Professor from Mathematics department. The visit was on the 07^th of April 2022 from 11:30 am to 2:10 pm. Ms. Anusree K R, Class Representative of II B. Sc. Mathematics served as the coordinator of the event
