WORLD DAY FOR SAFETY AND HEALTH AT WORK

The World Day For Safety And Health At Work is celebrated every year
on 28th April to promote the prevention of occupational accidents and
disease globally. NCC cadets at ST.JOSEPH'S COLLEGE AUTONOMOUS
IRINJALAKUDA celebrated World Day For Safety And Health At Work
through an online platform. The World Day For Safety And Health At Work
will focus on strategies to strengthen national occupational Safety and
Health (OSH) systems to build resilience in order to face crises now and
in the future, drawing on lessons learned and experiences from the world
of work. The day is also commemorated as an International day for dead
and injured workers.
The words of NCC cadets about the World Day For Safety And
Health At Work was presented as a video and posted on social media.
The video represents the theme of this year's World day for safety and
health at work is 'Anticipate, prepare and respond to crisis and invest
now in resilient OHS system,' and also emphasizes the precautions that to
be taken under this pandemic situation. Let's practice social distance,
the habit of wearing masks properly, Sanitisation, and keeping ourselves and
our surroundings neat and clean.
