Department of Costume and Fashion Designing in association with Manorama online and M4marry.com organised “Chandam 2k22” an inter-Collegiate Malayali Manka contest, All Kerala – Popular Malayali Manka and Onam reels Contest on 31st August 2022. The event commenced with the fashion show based on Onam flower carpet organised by the students of the department of Costume and Fashion Designing. The contest flaunted the Kerala culture through different participants from various colleges including Vimala College, Thrissur and Nirmala college, Meloor. The event was judged by Miss Swetha Gopinath, Miss Kerala fitness and fashion along with Miss Keerthy  Sophiya Ponnachan , Assistant professor , Department of  English, Carmel college Mala,  former customer model of Seematti. The title winner of Malayali Manka contest was Annette Rose Joseph, and the runner ups were Jisnamol Saji and Tiya J Ukken of St Joseph’s College.
