“Chandham 2K23”- Malayali Manka Contest ( Extra Curricular )

The event Chandham 2K23, the inter-departmental Malayali Manka contest was conducted on 22nd of August 2023at 2.00 pm in the college auditorium. The program was the floor for many talented beauties who were part of the event.

“Chandham” is the Malayali Manka contest which is an annual event conducts by the department of Costume and Fashion Designing on the occasion of the festival Onam. 

The event Chandham 2K23, the inter-departmental Malayali Manka contest was conducted on 22nd of August 2023at 2.00 pm in the college auditorium. The program was the floor for many talented beauties who were part of the event. The Malayali Mankas conquered the ramp of St. Joseph’s and the event brought the feel and essence of the festival Onam early to the college campus. There were 15 participants, from which the second runner up, runner up and the title winner were selected. The program was judged by the eminent personality, creative Fashion Designer, founder of the firm “AATMA” Ms. Amita Vijayakumar. The contest was comprised of two rounds- the intro round and the Q&A round. The contest was won by Ms. Aswati. The winner was crowned by the college principal, Dr. Sr. Blessy.
