As part of the Xaviour Board MOU with St. Teresa’s College (Autonomous), Ernakulam, the students of the department of Costume & Fashion Designing (31 students) attended a workshop on “Kalamkari” at the Fashion Design department of St. Teresa’s College on 14th November 2022.

As part of the Xaviour Board MOU with St. Teresa’s College (Autonomous), Ernakulam, the students of the department of Costume & Fashion Designing (31 students) attended a workshop on “Kalamkari” at the Fashion Design department of St. Teresa’s College on 14^th November 2022. “Kalamkari” is the traditional painted textile of Andra Pradesh. The session was handled by Ms. Dhanya P (Fashion Stylist, Malayalam Ad-Film industry). It was an amazing experience for the students that they could learn practically what they learnt theoretically in the classroom. The colour mixing to get the exact traditional colours of Kalamkari was the interesting part.
