Industrial Visit to AIR and Deepika

Visited AIR Thrissur and Deepika Thrissur

The department of Journalism and Mass Communication had visited AIR Thrissur and Deepika Thrissur. It was a wonderful experience for students. In AIR Thrissur the students had got a chance to saw the different radio equipments like mixer, recording studio, consoles, different forms of microphones and sound proofing materials. They had luck to saw airing of a radio programme on live. They also got an expert explanation about these equipments and its usage. In Deepika Thrissur students had acquaintance with the different departments in newspaper production like news desk, editing suite, offset printing section etc. And students had also seen the printing of evening paper Rashtra Deepika.
