DIAMOND JUBILEE INAUGURATION CEREMONY

REPORT

Diamond Jubilee Inauguration Ceremony of St. Joseph’s College
(Autonomous), Irinjalakuda was held on 10thNovember 2023.
The honourable chairman of university grants Commission Prof.
 M. Jagadeesh Kumar arrived as the chief guest of this event. He
arrived at about 8:45 AM. First, an interaction was held with the
heads of various colleges at the Loreto Conference Hall. Sir, then
laid Floral tributes at the Amar Jawan Smarak. He received Guard
of Honor from NCC cadets of St. Joseph’s college at college
portico. The official opening ceremony was held at college
auditorium in the presence of superior of Holy Family
Congregation, Honourable Bishop of Irinjalakuda diocese,
Irinjalakuda Municipality Chairman, Principal and Chairperson
of St. Joseph’s college. After the candle lighting ceremony, prof.
M Jagadeesh Kumar performed the inauguration by delivering the
inaugural speech. In addition to the official functions,
inauguration ceremony converted with various cultural programs.
After that, sir interacted with college students in college library.
Then after lunch, sir visited the manuscript lab as well as script
Garden and planted a sapling. On all these occasions, the cadets
performed their duties with punctuality and discipline.
