ENVIRONMENT DAY

World Environment Day is celebrated on 5th June every year to encourage the
awareness and the action for protection of the environment. The theme of World
Environment Day 2023 is “Beat plastic pollution”,highlighting people’s action
towards plastic pollution reduction.
St.Joseph’s College (Autonomous),Irinjalakuda has celebrated World Environment
Day by cleaning the surroundings of Pachathuruthu and college campus by the NCC cadets of our college.The cadets also took online pledge as a part of this day.The main aim was to clean the environment and collecting plastic waste around the area.Cadets made posters and published in social media.
