25th ANNIVERSARY OF POKHRAN NUCLEAR TEST

REPORT

Ernakulam group organised an exhibition to celebrate the 25th anniversary of
Pokhran II Nuclear test by Thrissur based units on 12 May 2023 , at Vimala
college, Thrissur . 7 Kerala Girls Battalion Commanding Officer Lt. Col. Bijoy B
and Adam Officer Major Gayatri K Nair were leading the program. various
programs and competitions were organized on the basis of the subject “ peaceful
use of Nuclear Energy for the development of the nation”. Interactive display of
nuclear power pant, virtual reality, video exhibition, poster exhibition, still models,
working models, quiz and speeches were the programs held . NCC cadets from
various colleges participated in this event.

Observing the initiative, all the NCC cadets of St. Joseph's College (Autonomous),
Irinjalakuda participated in this event which included video and chart presentation,and also engaged in quiz competition. Along with the Nation, NCC cadets ofThrissur unit also celebrated silver jubilee of Pokhran Nuclear test.
