Celebrated the Day by preparing a video as a tribute to the fallen soldiers of the Kargil War and conducted an online Quiz Competition

You have never lived until you have almost died, and for those who chose to fight, life has a special flavor, the protected will never know. This is what each soldier feels when they are on the battlefields fighting for their nation. The events of 26th July are a story of recapturing every inch of the mountain, a story of unflinching commitment, and valiant sacrifice for the nation. Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated across India on the 26th of July every year in honor of the fallen soldiers of the Indian Armed Forces who fought valiantly to recapture the heights of Kargil from the Pakistani infiltrators.

This year, as the country celebrated the day at Amar Jawan Jyothi with our Prime Minister, the cadets of NCC 7 Kerala Girls Battalion of St. Joseph's College (Autonomous), Irinjalakuda, paid their tributes to the fallen soldiers. The cadets prepared a video as a homage to our Kargil Heroes. The video was shared on various social media platforms including NCC Digital Forum and enjoyed by all. 
Through this video, the awareness of the events of wartime and the valor of our warriors was conveyed to all.

The cadets also conducted an Online Quiz in which 292 people participated. It was noted that around 213 participants scored above 75% and received an E- Certificate. This brought the overall pass percentage of the quiz to approximately 73%. Through this quiz, the cadets and the other participants evaluated their knowledge about one of India’s greatest victories and learned more about it through the video they prepared.
