Quality Enhancement’
The
national seminar on ‘Academic and Administrative Audit for Quality Enhancement’
, organized by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of St. Joseph’s
College (Autonomous), Irinjalakuda, and supported by NAAC, was held on 19th
Thursday, 2017 for both faculty and ministerial staff of higher education
institutions. Dr. Sibichen M Thomas, the
Principal of St. Joseph’s College
(Autonomous), Devagiri, Calicut, inaugurated the seminar and Dr. Justin Nelson
Michael, the Research Wing Director of Kristu Jayanti College, Bengaluru,
delivered the keynote address. Dr. Davis Antony Mundassery – Head of the Dept.
of Statistics and
Co-ordinator, IQAC, Christ College (Autonomous), Irinjalakuda offered
felicitations. The College Principal, Dr. Sr. Lilly P L presided over the
inaugural session. Dr. Sr. Annie Kuriakose, former Principal of St. Joseph’s
College, Irinjalakuda and current Education Councillor of Holy Family
Congregation delivered the Valedictory Address.

R – Head of the Dept. of English and Member, IQAC, MES Asmabi College,
Kodungallur were the resource speakers at the technical sessions, Dr. Radha
Muralidharan – Head of the S F Dept. of English, Christ College (Autonomous)
Irinjalakuda, Dr. Dhanya Menon –IQAC
Co-ordinator, Prajyothi Nikethan College, Pudukad, Dr. Milon Franz – IQAC
Co-ordinator, St. Xavier’s College, Aluva, Mr. Patrick Mathew K –
Administrative Assistant, St. Thomas College (Autonomous) Thrissur, Sr. Litty
Raphael – Senior Superintendent, Vimala
College (Autonomous), Thrissur were the resource speakers at the Panel
Discussion, Dr. Asha Thomas – IQAC Coordinator, Dr. Sr. Lissy Anto P, Vice
Principal, Dr. Mangalambal N R –
Head, PG Dept. of Mathematics, and Dr. Lisamma John – Associate Professor,
Dept. of Hindi, of the organizing College, also addressed the delegates.
The
seminar was attended by around 200 participants comprising faculty and
non-teaching staff of higher education institutions from within and outside the
state. It was highly appreciated by all the participates who applauded the
choice and relevance of the seminar topic in the current higher education
scenario, and the inclusion of the ministerial staff along with the faculty as
participants in the seminar.
