REPORT
Republic day of India is celebrated on 26th January of every year to respect the
efforts of the freedom fighters who had demanded India's constitution . On 26th
1950, India’s constitution came into effect, and India became an independent
republic country. Though Republic day is a national holiday in India, schools and
colleges celebrate this day with patriotic zeal.
In accordance with Republic Day, NCC cadets of St Joseph’s (Autonomous)
College Irinjalakuda celebrated the day by floral rituals in Amar Jawan Smarak
built in our college. Principal Dr Sr Eliza hoisted the flag. The videos and posters
of our programme were shared on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
