Intercollegiate Literature Quiz Competition

Glowing tributes were paid to the lingering memory of Rev Dr Sr Franco CHF, our former Head, Principal and Manager at an intercollegiate quiz competition conducted on 9th December 2013 in her honour. Around 25 teams from all over the state participated. The competition, both engaging and entertaining, saw the finalists locked in a blistering battle of wits. The master of ceremonies was Mr. Viswas Viswam, one of the finest names to reckon with in the quizzing circles of South India. The audience too was kept entertained and interaction was aptly encouraged.

Sr Mary Franco Memorial Literature Quiz: Sagesse Lit 2013 – 2014

 

The Postgraduate and Research Department of English, St.Joseph’s College, Irinjalakuda conducted an intercollegiate literature quiz Sagesse Lit in honour of the memory of the founder Principal Rev. Sr Mary Franco CHF on 11^th December, 2013.   This prestigious event was attended by quiz aspirants from various institutions affiliated to MG and Calicut Universities.  Mr Viwas Viswam, as the master of ceremony, focused his rounds on World Literatures and tested the literary finesse of the participants.

Ms. Vishaka Venkat and Ms.Anna Maria George of Government Victoria College, Palakkad emerged victorious followed by Ms. Deepthy Paul and Ms. Krishna Sukumaran K. of St.Joseph’s College Irinjalakuda and Mr Abhijith Balakrishnan and Mr. Ashok S. Menon of Government Engineering College, Thrissur.
