Alumnae interaction series

The Dept. of Physics organized an interaction session with Teresa Tomy who graduated from the college in the year 2021. She then moved to NIT Silchar to complete her PG studies. The session began with the prayer by Roshna and Gayathri followed by a welcome address by Archa Sukesh. The speaker was formally introduced to the audience by Blessy Sabu. The session was then handed over to Teresa. She spoke in detail about her experiences at St. Joseph’s College and NIT Silchar, and also the lessons she learned from both the places. She encouraged the students to try new things in life and expereince the joy of learning. She also touched upon various topics related to projects, entrance exams, job, community service etc. Overall it was a friendly session where everyone had the chance to interact with the speaker. As a token of love and appreciation, a memento and a gift was presented to Teresa Tomy by the HoD, Ms. Mdhu C A. The session was concluded by a vote of thanks by the Physics Association Secretary, Aasya Rahim.
