The Commerce Association at St. Joseph's College Irinjalakuda hosted an exhilarating Commerce Association Day on December 14, 2023, bringing together students, faculty, and distinguished guests for a day of celebration and enrichment.

The event commenced with a warm welcome from anchors Akshara and Durga Sidharth, setting the tone for an exciting day filled with diverse activities and presentations. The attendees were urged to relax and enjoy the festivities that promised to unfold before them.

The day began with a soulful prayer led by Ms. Gourikrishna NR and Miss Jyoshna, emphasizing the importance of seeking blessings for guidance in our lives. The audience stood united in prayer, creating a serene and reflective start to the day.

Following the prayer, the Welcome Speech was delivered, embracing the spirit of togetherness and celebration. Remya Ma'am, Head of the Research Department of Commerce, graced the occasion with a welcoming address, extending a heartfelt welcome to all attendees.

The Lighting of the Lamp & Inaugural Address was a highlight of the day, featuring Mrs. Vardhini Prakash, Executive Director of Kalyan Hypermarket. The dignitaries on stage joined in illuminating the lamp, symbolizing the commencement of the event. Mrs. Vardhini Prakash's inaugural address added a touch of inspiration, making the session eagerly awaited.

A moment of recognition and appreciation followed with the Felicitation of Dr. Binu T V, IQAC coordinator. The audience acknowledged Dr. Binu T V's contribution to the program with gratitude.

The event gained momentum with the unveiling of the ACT 2k23 logo by Mrs. Vardhini Prakash, marking a significant chapter in the association's journey. The audience expressed their anticipation with applause as the iconic logo was revealed, symbolizing the vibrancy of the upcoming event.

The Interactive Session with Mrs. Vardhini Prakash provided a platform for engagement, allowing the audience to ask questions and interact with the esteemed guest, enhancing the overall experience.

Expressing gratitude for the insightful session, the Memento Presentation honored Mrs. Vardhini Prakash, presenting a token of love and appreciation. Remya Mam, Head of the Department, extended the memento, highlighting the significance of Mrs. Vardhini Prakash's presence.

Emi Rose Stephen, Association Secretary, Commerce Association, delivered a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, acknowledging the efforts that made ACT 2k23 possible. The audience appreciated the collective contribution that led to the success of the event.

The program concluded with a brief cultural intermezzo, showcasing the diverse talents of the students. The Welcome Dance by first-year students set the stage ablaze with captivating moves, followed by a soulful Flute performance by Gayatri and a mesmerizing dance performance by Devika.

In the Closing, participants were thanked for making ACT 2k23 a resounding success, emphasizing the spirit of unity and shared moments that defined the Commerce Association Day.
