Christmas celebration in the department

The Department of Commerce celebrated Christmas with great enthusiasm and fervor on December 22nd, 2023. The event was organized in the third year B Com classroom.

The celebration began with a warm and inspiring Christmas message delivered by the Head of the Department, Miss Remya. She emphasized the true meaning of Christmas, which is about spreading love, joy, and compassion. She urged everyone to embrace the spirit of giving and to support those in need, especially during the festive season.

Following HOD Miss Remya's message, students from the M.Com department set the stage ablaze with their soulful rendition of traditional Christmas carols. Their melodious voices filled the air with joy and created a festive atmosphere. The event also included various cultural performances by students, showcasing their talents through dance, and  poetry recitations related to Christmas. The performances highlighted the significance of the festival and conveyed the message of unity and harmony.

Additionally, the Department of Commerce organized a special gift exchange activity, where participants brought wrapped presents to be exchanged with one another. This activity not only brought excitement and laughter but also symbolized the act of giving and sharing, which is a cornerstone of the Christmas season.

In conclusion, the Christmas celebration by the Department of Commerce at St. Joseph's College Irinjalakuda was a grand success. The event provided an opportunity for students and faculty to come together, rejoice, and commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ.
