Department organised wopreneur summit in connection with Chamber of commerce youthwing Thrissur

A Summit of 60 exceptional, inspiring, and budding women entrepreneurs was held on 5th March 2024 at Padma Bhushan Fr. Gabriel Seminar Hall, St. Joseph's College (Autonomous) Irinjalakuda, Thrissur in connection with International Women’s Day 2024 and the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of the College. The event is jointly organized by the Research Department of Commerce and the Youth Wing of the Chamber of Commerce, Thrissur. The event was inaugurated H E. Amb. Dr. Ishha Farha Quraishy, Metaverse & AI Innovation Strategist, Technopreneur, Offcial Reigning Mrs UAE United Nations & Mrs. Universe 2019 Solidarity. The event  included a panel discussion featuring Smt. Vardhini Prakash, Executive Director, Kalyan Hypermarket, Smt.  Jismi Jobin, Founder, Jobin and Jismi IT Services LLP, Smt. Rema Sivaram , a  Bangalore based Social Entrepreneur& Sustainability Activist , Dr. Sangeetha Janachandran, Founder, Stories Social and Smt. Sopna Kallingal , Owner, Kallingal Plantation . Honouring of 60 leading and budding entrepreneurs in Kerala was another highlight of the event.    This year’s International Women’s Day theme is ‘Invest in women: Accelerate progress’ , the entire programme is in tune with this theme and   showcased the expertise and experience of these entrepreneurs in various fields and their contributions to the society which motivated the woman folk to aspire entrepreneurship and to become their own boss
